A study of the corridor that bisects NC State University campus

The corridor is a crossroads linking North Carolina State University campus activity centers south of Western Boulevard to the Central & North campus and includes major pedestrian, bicycle and transit crossings. Safety is a concern and the University has a commitment to create a pedestrian-friendly campus. This study, a project performed in coorperation with the Capital Area MPO, The City of Raleigh, NC State University and the North Carolina Department of Transportation, aims to develop successful alternatives for crossing facilities to separate bicyclists and pedestrians from vehicular traffic with segregated crossing locations.
